🎨 Access Scholarship Recipient Spotlight: Delilah, Age 8

We are so excited to introduce Delilah, our featured Access scholarship recipient this month! At just 8 years old, Delilah’s creativity, curiosity, and bright spirit shine in everything she does. We sat down with her to learn more about her artistic journey, inspirations, and dreams for the future.

Q: What’s your name and how old are you?

Delilah: My name is Delilah, and I am 8 years old.

Q: What colors or sounds describe your personality?

Delilah: The color purple describes me the best. It’s my favorite color, and I wear it a lot!

Q: If you could have any superpower, what would it be?

Delilah: I would choose the power of flying. I think it would be so cool to fly up high and touch the clouds.

Q: How did you first get interested in art (or music)?

Delilah: I really enjoy music, especially the piano, because it can make so many different sounds.

Q: What kind of art or music do you like most?

Delilah: Piano is my favorite because it’s fun and full of different sounds.

Q: If you could paint, draw, or play music about anything in the world, what would it be?Delilah: I would draw a bunch of hearts and cats.

Q: What’s one dream or goal you have for the future with your art or music?

Delilah: My dream is to learn a super happy song on the piano.

Q: If you could create something for the whole world to see or hear, what would it be?Delilah: I would share my happy song or a drawing full of hearts and cats so everyone could smile.
