Access Art is proud to spotlight Ryland, one of our talented Access Scholarship recipients! At 12 years old, Ryland has a passion for music and is working to develop his skills on the piano. Inspired by his artistic mom, he hopes to continue growing as a musician and one day create music of his own. We sat down with Ryland to learn a little more about his personality, inspiration, and dreams for the future.

Q: What’s your name and how old are you?

Ryland: My name is Ryland, and I’m 12 years old.

Q: What color describes your personality?

Ryland: Red because it’s my favorite color, and it’s bright like me!

Q: If you could have any superpower, what would it be?

Ryland: I would want to be invincible.

Q: Who inspires you to create?

Ryland: My mother inspires me because she is very artistic.

Q: What’s one dream or goal you have for the future with your music?

Ryland: One goal I have for the future is to get better at the piano and create my own music.

We are super excited to watch Ryland continue to grow and develop as a musician!
