🎨 Access Scholarship Recipient Spotlight: Arabella, Age 8

We are so excited to introduce Arabella, our featured Access scholarship recipient this month! At just 8 years old, Arabella’s love for art began with coloring and grew into a passion for drawing, especially abstract art that lets her imagination lead the way. Inspired by her best friend and guided by creativity and faith, Arabella dreams of building her skills through drawing lessons and creating meaningful art for the world to see. We sat down with her to learn more about her artistic journey, inspirations, and dreams for the future.

 



Q: What’s your name and how old are you?

Arabella: My name is Arabella, and I am 8 years old.

Q: What colors or sounds describe your personality?

Arabella: Brown and beige describe my personality.

Q: If you could have any superpower, what would it be?

Arabella: I would choose telekinesis.

Q: How did you first get interested in art (or music)?

Arabella: When I first started coloring, I wanted to draw too.

Q: What kind of art or music do you like most?

Arabella: I like abstract art the most.

Q: Who inspires you to create (maybe a family member, teacher, or someone famous)?Arabella: My best friend inspires me.

Q: If you could paint, draw, or play music about anything in the world, what would it be?Arabella: I would create something like the Mona Lisa.

Q: What’s one dream or goal you have for the future with your art or music?

Arabella: My goal is to reach a 90-day streak.

Q: If you could create something for the whole world to see or hear, what would it be?Arabella: I would create a picture of Jesus’ cross.

Q: What would you tell another kid who wants to be an artist or musician someday?Arabella: I would tell them to take drawing lessons.

Q: Anything you want everyone to know about you?

Arabella: My lucky number is 15.
